WHAT YOU NEED TO MAKE HOMEMADE STUFFING RECIPES TOOLS: 1) Large mixing bowl 2) Large mixing spoon 3) Small bowls to hold ingredients 4) Spoon or piping bag to fill treater 5) One or more Chew King Treaters INSTRUCTIONS: Mix all ingredients together. When you pick up a dollop on a spoon and turn the spoon sideways, it should fall off within 4 seconds. Make sure your recipe is not too thick or too thin. To use: Insert the stuffing into the treater by spoon or squeezing from a piping bag. Add additional pieces of food at the end of the treater if desired. Serve immediately or freeze the filled treater until ready to use (max 3 days in fridge or 1 month in freezer depending on recipe). To store leftover stuffing: Place in a resealable bag or container and seal shut. Make sure to keep perishable recipes refridgerated. |
CREATE A FOUR COURSE MEAL! Step 1: Tantalizer At the small end of your treater, insert something super tasty like a little morsel of freeze dried liver, peanut butter, almond butter, or cheese. Step 2: Dessert Next up, fill the smallest third of the treater with yummy foods such as dog biscuits or treats, cubed apples, carrots, green beans, or bananas. Step 3: Main Course Stuff the last two thirds of the treater with your regular dog food such as kibble or canned food. If you're using kibble, try mixing it with unsweetened applesauce to make it harder for your dog to get it out. Step 4: Appetizer The last step is to put something in the opening at the widest side of your treater. Use a treat sticking out of the top to entice your dog to "get serious" about the deconstruction job ahead of them! |
